When the live Rock and Roll Animal kept selling, RCA took the predictable step of releasing more tracks from the same set of shows. Many Reed fans hate his polished band from this period, but it's pretty impressive how they manage to make the beautifully produced album tracks "Walk On the Wild Side" and "Sad Song" thrive outside the studio.
