Though not as fully realized as subsequent Wayne releases, 500 Degreez still has a score of killer hooks and infectious Dirty South beats. Producer Mannie Fresh is in vintage form, and the entire album is dripping with big, funky N.O. bounce. Fresh's adlibs are among the funniest in all the business and are comic foil to Wayne's party anthems.
