The second volume of The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell picks up where the first left off, with the boys in Five Finger raging about their ability to take no crap from nobody ("Here To Die"). Volume 2 might be even heavier, actually. Both "Weight Beneath My Skin" and "Wrecking Ball" encapsulate the band's striking style: grunge choruses married to groove-metal riffage and shot through with hot licks. And as if to prove that they are fully aware of the hard-rock tradition to which they belong, Five Finger close out with a hyper-crunch version of "House of the Rising Sun."
