Que Nos Vean

Angel and Khriz have never been afraid of collaboration, so it's no surprise that on their second outing they extend that spirit, borrowing liberally from tropical and even Mexican styles: mariachi, salsa, bachata, cumbia ... and hip-hop, of course. The result may not be earth-shattering, but it's pretty engaging -- often surprisingly romantic, musically varied (for a reggaeton album) and lacking much of the abrasiveness reggaeton can suffer from. The acoustic guitar-and-horn dominated "La Vecina" makes for a great first single; we vote for "Juguete" as the follow-up.
