The Band Perry turn things up on sophomore effort Pioneer, opening with singles "Better Dig Two" and "Done" before taking a turn into new territory. Just check out the "Bohemian Rhapsody"-esque a capella harmonies on "Forever Mine Nevermind" and the '70s-rock-inspired wah-wah pedal on "I'm A Keeper." "Don't Let Me Be Lonely" starts off as a timid lament built around an acoustic guitar, then slowly unfolds into a dauntless mantra. As Kimberly's fearlessness grows, so do the pounding drums and electric guitars. Other highlights include "Night Gone Wasted," "Mother Like Mine" and "Chainsaw."
