Recharged is Linkin Park's second remix album to date. Where 2002's Reanimation was more deeply rooted in hip-hop, this collection (harnessing the band's last album Living Things for source material) finds them focusing on EDM: brostep, electro, trance, etc. Steve Aoki leads the way with a dancefloor-savvy rework of "A Light That Never Comes." Significantly heavier (and sure to appeal to old-school Linkin Park fans) is Dirtyphonics' pummeling of "Lies Greed Misery." Korn collaborator Datsik also gets in on the action with a version of "Until It Breaks," one shot through with air-raid sirens.
